No license? No problem. Operating a XOTIX™ JetCar is easy and legal for everyone. Upon arrival, we provide a Transport Canada-approved Rental Boat Safety Checklist which serves as your temporary license for the duration of your trip. As long as you are 16 years of age or older, you can pilot our JetCars independently after our brief 5-minute safety orientation.

To make the most of your "Whips and Waves" experience, we recommend bringing:
• Government-issued Photo ID: Required for all operators (must be 16+).
• Weather-Appropriate Swimwear: You will get a little wet!
• Sun Protection: Sunscreen, a hat, and polarized sunglasses (straps recommended).
• Towels & Change of Clothes: For after your session.
• Sense of Adventure: We provide all required safety gear, including CSA-approved life jackets for all sizes.

To take the wheel of a XOTIX™ JetCar, the primary renter and operator must be at least 16 years of age. However, our JetCars are family-friendly—there is no age limit for passengers, so feel free to bring the kids along! To ensure the peak performance you expect, each vessel has a maximum passenger and combined weight limit. We will confirm the specific capacity of your assigned JetCar during the booking process to ensure the best possible experience on the water.

We offer a tiered refund policy to balance flexibility with our operational schedule:
• 100% Refund: For cancellations made at least 14 days (2 weeks) prior to your booking.
• 50% Refund: For cancellations made between 72 hours and 14 days prior to your booking.
• Non-Refundable: Cancellations made with less than 72 hours notice are not eligible for a refund.

If we cancel your session due to unsafe water conditions, you will receive a full refund or a credit to reschedule.
