Bookings & Deposits
- All XOTIX™ experiences require a 50% deposit to confirm your booking. The remaining 50% balance is due 48 hours before your experience date.
- Your booking is not confirmed until your deposit is received and processed. Selecting a date and time without completing payment does not hold your slot — slots are available to all guests on a first-come, first-served basis until payment is received.
- By completing your booking, you confirm that all guests in your party are aware of and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

All refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.

Cancellations must be confirmed in writing via email or SMS. Verbal cancellations are not accepted. Your cancellation is not processed until you receive written confirmation from XOTIX™.
Reschedule Policy
- Guests may reschedule their experience up to 72 hours before their booked date at no additional charge, subject to availability.
- If you need to reschedule with less than 72 hours notice, a rebooking fee may apply at XOTIX™'s discretion.

Weather Cancellations
XOTIX™ reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any experience due to unsafe water or weather conditions. This decision is made by XOTIX™ operations at their sole discretion.
If XOTIX™ cancels your experience due to weather:
- You will be notified as early as possible via SMS and email
- A full reschedule to an available date will be offered at no additional cost
- If no suitable date can be arranged, a 100% full deposit refund will be issued within 5–7 business days
Mild rain, overcast skies, and moderate wind are not considered grounds for cancellation. Decisions on water safety and operating conditions are made by the XOTIX™ operations team and are final.
Operator Eligibility & Requirements
XOTIX™ JetCars are self-operated — you are in control of the vessel. There is no guide or captain on board. Before your experience, our on-site team will provide a Transport Canada-approved temporary boating license and complete a full safety orientation.
To operate a XOTIX™ JetCar, you must:
- Be 16 years of age or older with a valid government-issued photo ID
- Be in good physical health and capable of operating a personal watercraft
- Complete the on-site safety orientation before departing
- Agree to and sign the guest waiver
Passengers of any age are welcome on board. Operators are responsible for the safety of all passengers in their vessel. Maximum capacity: 2 persons per JetCar while in operation. Guests may take turns operating with family or friends as permitted by the XOTIX™ team.
XOTIX™ reserves the right to refuse participation to any guest who:
- Arrives without valid government-issued photo ID
- Has not completed and signed the guest waiver
- Appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Is deemed unfit to participate safely by the XOTIX™ team
No refund will be issued if a guest is refused participation for any of the above reasons.
Guest Waiver
All guests — including passengers — must complete a liability waiver before boarding. This is a mandatory requirement with no exceptions. Your waiver link will be sent to you by email after your deposit is confirmed.
By signing the waiver, guests acknowledge that JetCar experiences involve inherent risk including but not limited to personal injury, loss, or damage. XOTIX™ and its operators are not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage except in cases of gross negligence. Guests and operators participate entirely at their own risk.
Alcohol & Conduct
Alcohol consumption before or during the experience is strictly prohibited. Guests who arrive impaired will be denied participation with no refund issued. All guests are expected to behave respectfully toward XOTIX™ staff and other guests at all times. XOTIX™ reserves the right to end an experience early if a guest's conduct is deemed unsafe, disrespectful, or disruptive. No refund will be issued in this case.
Personal Belongings
XOTIX™ is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings during the experience. Guests are advised to leave valuables at home, use waterproof cases for phones, and avoid bringing glass containers on board.
Photography & Media
By participating in an XOTIX™ experience, guests consent to being photographed or filmed for use in XOTIX™'s marketing and social media content, unless they opt out in writing at the time of booking. Guests retain full ownership of all content they personally capture during the experience.
Gift Cards
XOTIX™ gift cards have no expiry date, in accordance with British Columbia consumer protection law. Gift card values are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes arising from a booking or experience with XOTIX™ will be resolved under BC jurisdiction.
